BioCeres WP - Biological Mycoinsecticide

BioCeres WP is an insect-pathogenic bioinsecticide using the Beauveria bassiana fungus. The OMRI Listed ANT-03 strain is approved for organic production and is perfectly suited in IPM programs, in a tank mix with other pesticides as well as in specific, stand-alone use. BioCeres WP is used for the biological control of whiteflies, aphids, thrips, and plant bugs.

Control numerous pests at all life stages, including, but not limited to, whiteflies, aphids, and thrips. Use BioCeres WP for all stages of insect growth, including eggs and diapausing insects. BioCeres WP works by germinating and entering the insect's body, feeding on the insect’s innards until death follows. Use on a wide range of crops as both a foliar spray or a drench.

BioCeres WP's Beauveria bassiana ANT-03 strain is a plant-isolated endophytic strain - meaning it was isolated from plant tissue rather than soil, which influences how it colonizes and behaves in plant-associated environments. It works at all life stages including eggs and diapausing insects, which is the mode of action gap that synthetic IGRs like azadirachtin don't cover - BioCeres WP and AzaGuard cover complementary parts of the insect life cycle and are a natural program pairing.

The 4-hour REI and 0-day PHI mean it can be applied close to harvest without residue concerns. No resistance is possible with a biological mode of action (IRAC code exempt), which makes it a durable rotation tool in programs where synthetic insecticide resistance is a growing concern. Apply as foliar spray or drench - works on aerial and soil-dwelling pest populations from the same container.
